What is Flave?
Flave is a mobile app that rewards consumers for dining at local restaurants as opposed to chains. Restaurants need a platform to facilitate consumer engagement without further crippling their margins. Flave leverages gamification and is a cost-efficient platform that drives traffic to local restaurants.
My Involvement
Flave forced me (happily) to wear many hats and to be involved in every aspect of the business. I sharpened my product design skills and developed a business model from the ground up. Below you will find a gallery of my work including videos of prototypes, marketing videos, pitch competition videos, and designs. I was a finalist in the University of Baltimore’s Rise to the Challenge Competition. I won the Hustler Award and the University System of Maryland Baltimore Fund. The Baltimore Fund is given to the entrepreneur who best exemplifies the University's commitment to Community and Civic Engagement, Ethical Engagement, and Responsible and Resourceful Stewardship for the City of Baltimore.
